Leyenda Ballet Folklorico

Leyenda has now expanded. Leyenda’s Ballet Folklorico de Orange County dance group is now bringing joy and colorful entertainment services to Orange County Galas, concerts, social events, etc.

. Leyenda was created in 2005 in Riverside and since its inception it has been a trend setter in the world of Mexican dance entertainment. We have done 10 International Dance tour and have our event performers have danced in Hollywood movies, music videos, massive media events, TV shows, concerts, red carpet galas and corporate event entertainment. Fashion shows love to feature our dancers as models or ambience live decor showing the designer clothes or featured as live statues representing folk beauty. We offer experience and professionalism bringing quality shows that are refined, artistic and elegant while traditional and authentic.

Founder Gabriela Pineault

Gabriela is a native of Mexico. Born and raised there, she is a visionary who thinks outside the box in terms of choreography, show production, theater production, dance tours, folk dance, ethnography, anthropology, Mexican history and performing arts.

Her pulse is in blending the traditional dance with innovative modern entertainment approach fit for fashion shows, music videos and any event or film.

We have been on TV over 38 times. Our group has been featured on the front cover of Beijing China’s main newspaper: “China News” twice. We been featured in foreign country media various times because of our 10 international tours. Our academy yields more and more dancers and currently is about 45 dancers to suit your massive media event’s requirements. We have a vast array of wardrobe to choose from.

Representing Mexico’s culture through dance locally and internationally (France, Italy, Oman, Dubai, China, Mexico, Thailand, etc) has been the highlight of my life and that of my students.
I find joy creating new shows and new wardrobe. I love to bring colorful and vibrant, cultural entertainment to every event. Themed events are now very popular and “WHO doesn’t love a lively Mexican FIESTA?” Event planners and Event managers could agree all day. From the food to the dancing… it makes for a great experience for guests and patrons.
